Position: Senior Sales Engineer
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree, BSEE (preferred)
- Mininum 5 years experience in a technical sales environment
Experience should include: development of account plans, selling at all levels of an organization, negotiation of major orders and/or contracts, and setting/executing measurable goals and plans. The position requires demonstratable success in the design in and sale of complex components in the Southern California market with customer design engineers to provide solutions using Westrep's portfolio of products.
Position: Entry Level Sales Engineer
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree, BSEE preferred, but not required
- One to two years experience in a technical sales environment
Experience should include: development of account plans, working with distributors, and setting/executing measurable goals and plans. The position requires demonstratable success in the design in and sale of complex components in the Southern California market with customer design engineers to provide solutions using Westrep's portfolio of products.
Position: Inside Sales Rep
Qualifications:
- Two-year college degree, in business, science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Three to five years experience in a business environment, including at least two years in a sales organization (e.g. manufacturers rep or sales department in a manufacturing or distribution company), or equivalent exposure to the sales process
- At least one year experience with electronic / technology products industry, including some exposure to semiconductor products, prefered but not required
- Proactively pursue purchase orders from customers for new business, with minimal direction from Sales Engineers
- Make proactive prospecting calls to gather account information, including BOM's, competitive information, key decision makers, current projects, etc.
- Process quotes, samples and customer orders
- Manage order backlog, interacting as required with customers and manufacturers
- Develop and maintain customer forecasts and factory monthly reports
